Ben Kealey setup Dead Buni after witnessing two of his passions, pianos and bikes being discarded as scrap or firewood. Redesigning and restoring pianos, bikes and now furniture combines Ben’s carpentry, engineering and artistic skills joining inspiration with innovation.

 

Having played the piano since a very early age Ben has been the Keyboardist and Vocalist for Rock Band Kasabian spanning two decades. He’s performed worldwide for many years which has given him an opportunity to absorb vast styles of art and culture reflected in his Urban Art projects and private commissions which he pursues through Dead Buni whilst not on tour with the band.

 

Dead Buni’s ethos is to bring abandoned pianos, bikes and select pieces of furniture back into vogue as items of functional art or focal furniture rather than just more candidates for landfill - its not only an eco-friendly solution but also preserving something from the past.
